Stories, books and games!

Smarts lives in the Emerald Forest in the Land of Books. He's a good-hearted wise old owl who is full of adventures and stories. Smarts is the kind of owl who will sit for hours with you and recount his journeys in long winded detail.  He spent his early years working as a personal assistant to an old wizard in a far off land.  Smarts learned all of the secrets of magic from the old wizard.  When he arrived in the Land of Books, he brought Fireball, a friendly little dragon with him.  Fireball is only too happy to fly Smarts around with his books, and is one of Smarts' biggest fans.  When Smarts met The Keeper,  they instantly became friends, and embarked on the tedious, yet adventuresome task of restoring the Library.

 Smarts loves to help kids to further their reading skills.  His job at ToonTales is to find new stories.  His favorite day is Saturday, when he can sit in the Library with all the kids and tell them his elaborate stories. 
A captive audience, the kids are always intrigued and amused by the wise old owl, not to mention some of the big kids who discreetly stroll in for an afternoon of good old fashioned storytelling!  Being the wisest among the group, he is always a good source for sound advice.  And if ever you're feeling under the weather, Smarts can whip up a magical brew that will cure the sneeziest of colds and warm to coldest of cold toes!  Scribbles sometimes thinks Smarts is a bit nosey, but is happy when his friend rescues him from the situations he always seems to get tangled up in!
